Iceman Whakatane has been on the Commercial Wharf for 15 plus years, prior to that the site was used for commercial fishing sheds to hold all the pots/nets and gear for the fishing fleets.

The store has a unique look and feel as it still holds allot of the original flooring and linings of the old Wharf sheds.
